and reading again

I didn't really stop reading, always had Harry Potter series, but aside from those, I didn't prioritize reading.  Until I searched for a gift for a friend, thought of giving her a book and decided on My Name Is Memory.  Reading the synopsis made me source for a copy too!  It was a- ok.  You'd be hooked reading it because of the mild suspense and wonder if Daniel will finally be given the chance of being together with Sophia, after all of his hundreds of years of effort.  Just really bad that the ending was so open ended!  It is a must to wait for the second book!

I didn't enjoy Imaginary Girls.  Started reading the book, so might as well finish it.  Probably I didn't find the "captivating sisterly love" plot of the book appealing.  It was well written though.

And oh, I almost forgot about The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.  Enjoyed that book too!  It kept me guessing of what happened and what will happen.  As I moved to the next book in the Millennium Trilogy,  I got bored, that I stopped reading the book half way.  Grew tired of  Lisbeth's  so many issues.

Current read: The Betrayal of Natalie Hargrove.

teaching ol' me new tricks (lots!)

It is difficult, I tell you!

I'm distracted! Really hard to focus.  There are lots of things that catches my attention and making me waste time!  Plus I have chores and duties to fulfill.

But I say, if I don't start now, then when?  If I don't take baby steps, then when can I leap?

on 9.10.11

I decided to re-do my blog.  The old entries between 2007 to 2010, which I can't find the COURAGE of deleting, were moved and linked somewhere.

Starting over is...
  • the beginning of CSI Season 12 on September 21
  • revisiting advance html and css, ha!
  • continuing to cross stitch of autumn, am done with spring and summer
  • planning to do some art
  • checking out typography
  • learning the virtue of patience
A mild compulsion to post on Sept 10, 2011, I have really waited for this day.
